PASTA WITH SARDINES

INGREDIENTS FOR
4 PEOPLE

  • 500gr bucatini
  • 1kg of sardines
  • 1 bunch of fennel
  • 1/2 liter of tomato sauce
  • breadcrumbs
  • gruond almonds
  • extra virgin olive oil

 TIME: 30 min

 DIFFICOLTY: medium/high

 SEASON: sping

PREPARATION

  1. wash, clean the sardines and fry them in extra virgin olive oil;
  2. in the meantime, boil the wild fennel, once ready, take them out while keeping the vegetation water;;
  3. prepare the sauce with a fried onion, a little sardines and a little previously boiled fennel;
  4. fry the remaining boiled fennel in extra virgin olive oil and set aside;
  5. boil the pasta in the fennel water, taking it out very al dente but not too dry;
  6. season the pasta  with the sauce.  Add  the rest of the fried fennel and the fried sardines;
  7. toss the ingredients  in a pan and sprinkle everything with crumbs and previously toasted almonds;;
